Manure collection

Horse manure and chicken litter are the raw materials of our production process. That is why we like to collect yours. We have the necessary licences and suitable rolling stock to do so. We also collect green waste, bovine manure and goat manure. This way, we double the benefit: you do not have to dispose of the waste yourself and we replenish our stock of raw materials.

COLLECTION OF HORSE MANURE

Every week we send out a dozen of trucks to collect horse manure. They do so in a 200-km radius around Roeselare. In Belgium that is up to Antwerp, Brussels or Namur but also in France up to Valenciennes, Soissons and Dunkerque. Even in the Paris region.

We primarily look for horse manure that meets the following criteria:
- Rich in straw (wheat straw, no barley straw)
- Fresh and young
- Pure (free from other waste such as hay, stones, feed residues, etc.)
- Well accessible for our trucks

Because we pursue horse manure that is still fresh, we guarantee you a regular collection. This will keep your business clean.

Upon each collection, we deliver a manure collection document (MestAfzetDocument – MAD). It serves as proof that the manure was processed in environmentally friendly conditions.

We can also collect horse manure on other litter at cost and have it processed by third parties.

COLLECTION OF CHICKEN LITTER

Every week we process around 400 tonnes of broiler litter. The chicken litter is supplied from the Roeselare region. The litter comes from broilers on wood shavings so it is dry and easy to process.

This broiler litter serves as a source of nitrogen for the mushroom compost.
